    3 years? Nice.

Has anyone ever thought about putting on rod spacer just above the rod adaptor to give top setting more squish? I dunno if it’s even possible, was just thinking.

I'm going to take the plunge....currently running 5100's 2,2 with no lift in the back for the past 75k miles. Right now I'm sitting about even, maybe a little rake, but my rear springs are going a little flat. Like the ride in the front, pretty harsh in the back. Getting 4.88's this weekend, running stock sized tires on DCOR.

    I have:

SSO full plate front bumper at 90lbs (sitting on the garage floor)
    RCI steel front skid
Mobtown bolt on sliders w/bed liner paint
Warfab rear tube bumper, which feels lighter than the stock
    Bed mat
    UnderCover bed cover
Probably 120bs of sound deadening/blocking (dynomat, dynoliner, 2lb mlv, luxury liner, closed cell foam)

    Tell me how this sounds:

    6112 w/650# springs, set on 5/4
    Deaver Stage 1 rear springs
Not sure on rear shocks yet, but something other than 5100's

Eventually will get BDS UCAs and would like to run 285's or 255's,

What would this maybe yield in the front? 2"? I want to stay with a little rake, but don't want it to look goofy being too high in the front or rear. Thanks in advance!

Possibly consider 700lb springs if you plan to drop a winch in the plate bumper. I reached out to a couple resellers they advised low profile bumper + winch with the rest of the armor go 650 if you go plate bumper + winch and the rest of the armor go 700lb springs

Sounds good to me. For me 650 coils. 6/5 settings SSO hybrid bumper coming. For you you could bump up to 6/5 with 650 coils IMO.

I have the BAMF Hybrid bumper with high hoop and steel bash plate, and a Warn EVO 12-S (about 200 lbs total more than stock) and full BAMF skids and sliders. I am on 6/5 with the 650 lb springs and have 1” of lift above stock at 22” hub to fender. Icon RXT on stage 2 with minimal constant weight in the back at 24” hub to fender. I am considering a 1/4” top plate spacer on the 6112s to get to 22.5” in the front but it is good for now and I still have some rake when I tow.

For anyone that got the 5160s for the rear, did you mount your remote reservoirs towards the rear of the truck or towards the front?

Passenger side towards the front, drivers side towards the rear. Doing it this way doesn't require drilling any holes.

I lifted with the 6112s on the 10th clip each side, with a 1/4" spacer on the driver side to compensate for the known Tacoma lean, and with 5160s in the back with the 1.5" Icon Add-A-Leaf 51100 in the rear.

I finished the job this weekend, after hearing the loose brackets from the emergency brake cables rattle around for hours on the back roads. I wasn't in the mood for custom fabrication, and I found all the hardware and "universal bracket" at tractor supply to fasten the e-brake cable bracket back to the Icon add-a-leaf. Using a 3/4" long 3/8" bolt, washer, and nut, all I had to do was slightly open the holes in the factory brackets with a 3/8 drill bit to allow for assembly. No more loose e-brake cable bracket and the rattling noise on the back roads. You can choose nylon locking bolt, or regular bolt with lock washer, depending on your needs. I wasn't sure what exactly I would use,
so I bought extra hardware. If the bracket would have been a bit shorter, it would help with ground clearance when off-road, but I don't think it will be be an issue. I wasn't looking for perfection, just something good enough for now.

10th clip? Is that the lowest setting or highest? Do you have a picture from when you installed them?

There are 11 grooves on the newer style of the 6112s. The old ones had 6.
I read some people had reviewed that putting the clip on the setting for
the highest amount of lift made the suspension feel harsh, and I wanted
to keep a little of the rake anyway, so I put the clips in the 10th groove.
I did not take a picture of the clip setting on the shock before installing them.

I picked up a set of slightly used 6112s and installed them with the 650lb springs set on the 6/5 for driver/passenger. These are the older ones that only have 6 settings. I may pull them out and drop them down to a 5/4 setup. It's a little tall for the front end with my 1.5" AAL and bed rack plus camping gear. I may upgrade to heavy duty leaf springs and see how it sits.

I saw an ad on FB Marketplace 2 weeks ago with them, and I immediately wanted the blue springs. They also came with black 600lb springs, so I have those as a backup if these are too stiff. I'm going with blue accents on this Cement Taco so it'll all work out well.

Here's a good side shot of the suspension, the measurements from ground to fender, centered on the wheel are 39 1/8th Drivers Front, 39 1/8 Drivers Rear, 39 exactly Pass Front and 39 1/8 Pass Rear.

New UCA's are on order, I'll install them and then have a proper alignment done. I've got it very close, but I'd like to have it right. I don't drive much, maybe 10 miles a week right now, unless I'm going on a big trip.
