Funny enough U402s are slated to be my next mod...maybe we could get a group buy going?

On a separate note, I'm limping back from ECGS after getting 5.29s installed. Is there a consensus on if I now need to tune? Tbh I've never gotten a vehicle tuned and rn I'm loving these new gears!

I have the KDMax tune and love it, it got rid of the sluggishness below 3500 rpm. I would love to get me some 5.29s, it's on my list along with a front locker.

Bilstein 6112 front / 5100 rear (extended) shocks, Headstrong AAL, Firestone airbags, 4.88 gears, OME Carrier bearing drop kit, Aluminum 1/4" skids (engine to transfer). Custom sliders (1.75" HREW tube w/ 3/16" base plates). Custom front bumper and high clearance rear bumper (1/4" steel plate, 1.75" tube.) Apex 5500 winch w/synthetic line (36lbs) and required accessories for an underpowered winch (snatch blocks and extra line.) Tekonsha P3 brake controller, remote start, any-time-backup camera w/ front facing camera, Leer 100R shell (w/e-track single slot tie-down mounts for removable Yakima EasyTop.) Cat shields by CaliRaised. Husky liners, window tint, heated seat (passenger only.) Relentless bed rail brackets with QuickFists (shovel/axe/fire extinguisher.) Hondo Garage Un-holey vent mount. Anytime rear with front facing camera. Billet front seat risers. Viair 88p. 265/75r16 Goodyear Ultra-terrain tires.
I've reverted back to stock tune. My opinion would be there'd be less of a desire to get a tune with your new gearing. Tunes on this truck leave a lot of room for subjective data and opinions.

Last Friday my mom went to be with the Lord. She had been diagnosed with an aggressive cancer on top of some other health issues. With our full support, she decided to enter hospice care. After about a week she passed quietly in her sleep. Thanks for all the support and kind words from those who already knew. Going to need a trail ride and camp fire in the near future.

Yes, that's me. No, I don't know what happened either.

Sorry to hear, Tiny. Losing a parent sucks. Cancer sucks, too. It was the hardest thing I had to go through a few years ago. Also, thanks for trusting in this group enough to share something so personal.

I may have to look into the Deavers at some point...I have the Icon RXT and they creak like a pirate ship (not that I have ever been on one). I love the ride of the Icons, but having to apply silicone lubricant every other week is not my idea of a long-term solution.

Condolences and very sorry for your loss, brother.

That’s surprising. Mine have been through hell and back and have never made a peep. My dakars on the other hand were terrible.

Yeah, my Dakars were worse. But these Icons are almost as bad on the squeak/creak. They ride way better though, so at least there's that! Maybe being in Hawaii had something to do with it...all that salty air.
