Yes, those 2, and then you had questions about the puddle injector?

The puddle injector harness allows injection of stalk-switched DRL instead of ignition into the puddle harness. MESO puddles use a 4 conductor wire through the door, only 2 of which are used for the puddle light itself (dome pwm neg and constant +12v). The other two wires are parking lights and ignition, off the a pillar T tap. The puddle injector takes the output (red wire) from the v5 t harness and sends it to the wire which normally carries ignition in the puddle harness. You could then purchase the v5 pigtails MESO has (you have to ask for them special, he doesn't list them) to leverage the unused puddle connector to feed the v5's instead of running v5 harnesses through the door boots.

Personally, if time isn't the most critical limiter, I'd recommend opening the boots up and stuffing the v5 harness through. That's a longer process but it's more future-proof, now you have 6 wires through the boot, even though parking light is doubled up (and already available in the door anyway). I prefer having redundancy.

Just make sure the LED T harness is the right one for you, you have full LED headlights, not just the halogen bulbs w LED DRL.

Ok so the puddle injector will do the same job as the other harness? Both will be controlled with the stalk drl The only thing is that one you have the run it through the door boot and the other one you dont?

I don’t think you are getting it.

ignore the existence of the puddle injector. You need the other two harnesses. The injector is a third piece for someone keenly aware of everything as a shortcut to avoid running the longer harnesses through the boot. With this many questions you are best doing things the straightforward way.

It’s symmetric so there isn’t any logical difference but I like to color match because I have issues.

Driver side is the most common choice. It‘s all about which grommet you want to use to send it through the firewall and/or which kick panel is less crowded.
