Laptop will plug into the obd port?

 

The VF Tuner plugs into the OBD port and from the Tuner it connects to your laptop via USB.

 

check with @mZiggy and YotaWerx thead in the Tuning and Performance thread - he/they can help you out - or direct you to one of their licensed shops to do the flash for you.

 

The magnuson kit includes a VFTuner flash kit, so you can either flash a tune yourself using that kit (ex. YotaWerx) or your supercharger installer could use that same kit to do it as well as any of our networked tuners.

 

Anyone on here running a C4 Fab hybrid front bumper? Before I go pick one up I want to make sure I’m not creating a huge headache.

 

For super charger m, not c4 fab bumps.

 

I already have the blower and am looking to add a bumper/winch and know some have more room than others. Potentially picking up a c4 hybrid and a Warn Vr Evo tomorrow.

 

I have the C4 hybrid bumper with a winch. Just need to move the coolant pump a few inches to the right and extend the hose. No other issues.

 

I am, it’s fine, i have 20k miles so far so good.

 

anyone contacted Ryan or Magnuson lately to see what the current Magnuson Tune is? I like to keep a current version on hand - last one I received was V7. ??

 

I have V7 as well, last checked in with Ryan about 6 months ago.

 

thanks for update and post. Hopefully a user will post if and when they have a revised release-- which based on prior versions is no more than a paper weight. Glad I found Yotawerx and @mZiggy to make their SC run like a SC should!

 

Agreed, one week was plenty with the Maggy tune. The Stryker tune was a giant improvement!

 

As of December, it is still at V7.

 

Figured I’d add a pic of my relocated water pump from doing my bumper/winch install. Was able to bend the bracket and move the mount onto the lower trans cooler bolt. No cutting needed and the pump clears everything around it.

 

That’s exactly how mine was done by Toyota of Oxnard.

 

I have a buddy that just got a MT 2022 and supercharged it - it came with V8, so at least on the manual side there is an update.

 

I just emailed Ryan at Magnusson, it depends on your ECU software version. There's no update for the 04B91 MTs, they're still at V7.

I'm getting ready to add an O2 bung. Are the 3rd gen exhaust manifolds cast steel or stainless tube? Any tips to help with a clean install?

I did the same as @Kruuuzn except mine is more vertical,above and between the bolts for the heat shield, as seen in his picture. Is stamped formed sheet-metal, not even tube, but welded easy enough.
