I haven't looked at the specs but can imagine they like fuel. You're right, the Mazdas are pretty great and they do a killer interior. I'd certainly throw that in the ring for a family hauler choice.

yeah I'm not sure what they're like these days, but I know they've shared the same drivetrain as the Tundras and those are well known for being pigs on gas. Might be better now though

I always forget about those until I randomly see one driving around and wonder what it is, I didn't know if they were 3 row though so that's good to know

Well my wife was wanting a crossover so I've been trying hard to swing her towards a wagon. All the practicality without the compromise of an SUV. No manual is big sad though.

Lulz, those 2 year warranty upgrades really grind my gears as well.

You give a valid point tho, getting a whole ratchet set for 5 bucks less than just the ratchet is deals on wheels for sure. And more than adequate for normal Harry Homeowners. Since I make a living with my wrenches I'm more than happy to spend extra dollars on semi quality stuff. But I definitely don't make enough money to justify tool truck prices lol

Why wouldn't you get a sienna hybrid? Literally designed for you and your families needs.

She is even more opposed to the minivan life than I am, I've got my truck and 4runner so I wouldn't really care tbh. My sister and brother in law just got a hybrid Sienna actually and it is nice. Tons of room inside, captains seats in the middle even. But it would be my wife's primary so it's gotta be something she wants lol.

Having a kid(s) and being anti mini van is like ordering soup but anti spoons. Built in vacuum for cleaning up messes. Sliding doors so kids don't ding cars next to them. Tons of room for al the people and gear while delivering great fuel economy. I don't have kids and if money wasn't an issue I would have a sienna hybrid in my fleet LOL

that's why they invented sporks :luvya:

yeah the sliding doors are the one thing I think they have the big advantage on vs SUVs as far as kids go.

I think the hybrid Venza would be the ideal Toyota SUV but there are Honda/Mazda options I'd encourage her to look at too. I think the Sequoia would just be too big but she does like the big SUVs for that high up/protected feeling. We rented an Armada for a trip last summer and that thing was a freaking cruise ship on wheels, I hated it but she loved it.

Stirred up something in the 3rd gen section. Some of those guys are super fragile lol.

But they have a lot of money tied up in their trucks is what I need to remember. More than every vehicle I’ve owned combined.

I approve of the wagons now you just got to find her one that still has a five or a six-speed manual
