Lol yea definitely need to get them to change it, I'm not really cool with giving those chuckle heads an interest free 4k loan off my hard work. I can go back to my avg 400 a year return and still get about 256 a month more than what I'm getting now

Yeah, that happened. Least it's a small amount I pay per month and it's interest free.

Was a fluke actually.

Long story short, because I was 100% compliant we agreed on a per month allowance I was comfortable paying seeing as how I'm no longer working.

The IRS agent got it all on paper and pushed it forward for a final until she realized that was just to pay what I owed. She said it would be "xxx" with interest but because I've been compliant the entire time she pushed the agreed payment.

Got it approved and set up auto pay. Only what I agreed gets deducted and I received an annual statement showing what's paid down; all interest free.

 

It sucks having to pay it but more than a year now paying it I don't even notice it.

If I was trying to get away with not paying, etc. they could look into properties owned and other assets IE our houses and cars.

Cosmetically that Lexus needs a lot of help which kept the price down. Still seems like a solid deal.

 

Compared to an 80 series with the same amount of "roughness" and mileage, it is $5K lower while still being 10 years newer.

 

My parents owned their own company growing up, long story short, industry changed and they had to close the doors after 18yrs. They gave all of their employees fat severance checks as a "I'm sorry you don't have a job anymore" fee.... then had no money to pay their back taxes lol. IRS came after our family for $250k, thankfully the vehicles and house were actually in my grandparents name so we weren't thrown out on the street, wasn't for lack of trying on the IRS's part tho

The GX market was somewhat affordable a few years ago before people figured out you could bolt overlanding parts on them too.

At least comparing them to a 2UZ 4Runner or Land Cruiser.
