Probably the windshield. Do you have a sunroof or roof rack? There’s only a few ways you could get water there.

Auto body shop had Safelite do my windshield and back slider. Fist the cut back slider trim, they had to oder new one and replace it, on their dime. Installed windshield twice, first it was 3/8" low, gap at top, and cover Vin #. When they replace back slider they cut edge of headliner, so that had to be replaced. So windshield had to come out 3rd time. They are hacks.

My Gen2 had a similar leak on the driverside and I found it was coming from under the rubber rails where the roof rack would attach. The holes on the Gen2 were just sealed with goop if you didn't have a roof rack. I pulled back the rubber and found that the goop was pulled back a bit. I pulled the old goop, cleaned up the area, resealed the holes and replaced with new rubber trim pieces. I have not seen this issue with the Gen3s, but you could look there. My Gen3 doesn't have this issue, but I suspect it could be similar.

Only leaks up top would be sunroof (N/A), roof rack (N/A), rear brake light (too far back) or windshield so bad install. Luckily sounds like you caught it & can fix b4 there’s any add’l problems from the water getting inside

Gen2s roof rack holes were sealed from the factory with essentially foam tape that was then painted over when the vehicle was painted. Unless you bought used or a roof rack was removed at some point and sealed with something else.

So it’s fixed now? If so kudos for showing back up with the resolution. Most people just post a problem and bounce. So many unanswered questions.
