Just got these mounted. Cleaned up and ceramic coated with CSL. Will put on a coat of Evo tomorrow and will put tire dressing on once on the truck later this week. Thanks @SCSPerformance for such an awesome wheel and having them in stock.

Was hoping to fit 16” F5 -25 offset with LT265/75/R16 K02 on my stock 2023 Double Cab Sport. I thought I was going to be able to trim and melt some of the moldings in the wheel well, but after cutting away the plastic, found some metal and the wheel is hitting it about a 1/4” - does anyone have any tips/tricks to get this set up to work? Is the red circled metal critical, or could I saw that off?

Any leads or help would be much appreciated.

I plan on lopping off all of that to run my 0mm wheels on 35s, but it looks like you'll hit the cab mount before that spot it a bigger problem honestly. Get to cutting :sawzall:

Scanned thru about 60 pages of this thread now since I've became interested in SCS wheels and the F5....Bunch of sweet setups. Curious question, what sort of PSI have you SCS owners been able to run comfortably while out on the trails? I'm new to the wheel game. Trying to figure out what's more important..saving that rotational weight w/ the F5, or if the new Method 700 series w/ that new bead grip technology is worth the extra cost & weight???(bout 7-10 lbs heavier-models vary).

    Any input much appreciated

I have the older F5s and have run as low as 10psi (285/75/16 on 16x8). I believe that SCS wheels have a knurled bead now so the new ones should hold even better.

Sweet, thanks @stickyTaco . Method bead grip sounds cool, but might be somewhat overkill for the trails I look to do. I think I'm gonna stay focused on the F5, or just SCS wheels in general. Saving on that wheel weight for a bigger tire upgrade down the road seems to outweigh the pros of running a super low PSI. Very rarely do I feel the need to air down less then 20-25 PSI anyways. Seems like SCS handles all that just fine..or they wouldn't have all the fan clubs haha.

Badass build @stickyTaco . My 3rd gen DCLB build seems to be starting out similiar to yours, and my name is Zack too. :bananadance:. 2" OME Nitrocharger lift up front, 2.75" Rear lift w/ OME HD leafs. GFC on the back.. I'll get some pics up of her once I get these wheels/tires figured out.

Spring is almost around the corner and I'm getting ready to mount my SCS wheels. Does anyone put a coating on these wheels for protection?

Everyone knows what they look like when they’re clean. Here is the gunmetal when it’s dirty on 285/75r16.
