She went with her family close and by her own terms. I hope we are all so lucky. Nothing anyone can write will make this ok. But you do have friends here, and if something you write makes it better, then do it.

That's a horrible idea. What time?
Friends are what makes life better when it's sucks a bit more than you like. I've said it before about this group (NOVA included) there are some really good people in here. Some lean a little toward bat shit crazy, but good people and friends.

We made our peace with this two weeks ago when the diagnosis was presented. She lived life on her terms and went out as she wanted, peaceful and without pain. Who could want anything less.

They are. Until they start breaking down. A friend traded his GTI for one. Sounded awesome. Was fun. Then the break-downs started happening. Then he tried to trade it in. And the fun was over.

Edit: why are you drawing with crayons on it??

TAKE ME AWAY TO ANOTHER LAND...I GOTTA GET AWAY FROM THIS JOB BEFORE I GO CRAZZZZYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well though it feels like just yesterday it was December and work was mostly normal...the last 3 months of trying to get our new HRIS system up and implemented in order to go live with payroll starting 12/24/2022 has been literally driving me to the edge of sanity...and that's only been trying to get payroll and taxes working correctly for over 350 employees dispersed across the U.S.A. (and Puerto Rico, too now). ssssooooo who's going to start throwing out dates for the next gathering at Pooches Compound?!?!?!
Tim, I can't do much with words, but as other have mentioned we are here for you, and we can definitely get some campfire time in when we get together next.
From my family to yours, you all are in our prayers and please don't hesitate to let us know if we can help or do anything in the meantime.

So any turd gen's in here upgrade their lead acid battery to AGM? My OE battery charge just dipped enough for the scanguage to alert me while driving home yesterday...figured it was put in the truck sometime in early/mid 2017...bough the truck in May of '18, so I'd be content pulling it out and using it for tester battery and then when it kicks the bucket, return the core for the $ credit. My BiL just got a new battery for his 2018 F150 at NAPA and turns out he ended up getting something like 26% off the battery since he's a county employee...hence why I'm considering the AGM as the replacement as it appears the discount would bring me down to the basic lead acid 24F battery, plus with OT tune I can have them adjust the alternator to charge the AGM appropriately for FREE (plus I'm having the tuner do the 6th gear delete on ECT to see how that works for my weekly trash/recycle trips).

Are the Odyssey AGM batteries REALLY worth an extra $130?!?!?! HOLY CRAP NAPA branded AGM 24F is $239.99, the Odessey 24F is $370.99!!!!!

I have the old deep cycle battery from the camper trailer, but it's too large to fit on the factory tray. I've considered using it in conjunction with the viair 450 compressor that lives in the bed, but the weight vs. opening hood with hot engine doesn't square for me...now if I were running a fridge or CPAP, etc. that might be easier to justify.

Well aren't I just the brightest crayon in the box...technically March weekends look pretty wide open.

The real question is before/during or after Daylights Savings kicks back in, plus we need to probably circle up with @Tiny's Taco since he'll be up in MI sometime that month.

Dare I throw out St. Patrick's weekend, or would heading up Saturday after St. Paddy's Day is Friday the 17th?!?

Look at Batteries Plus. Their store brand is made by Northstar. Supposedly the best AGM. Look into the charging of said battery somewhere on this site.
