Morimoto Gen 2 XB fuse question

    Hey I will be installing the morimoto Gen 2 XB LED headlights in my 2023 SR this weekend. Morimoto says for the DRL harness to use EFI3...but ive read that the EFI3 fuse will cause the DRLs to come on for a minute or so after a few hours as the truck is running some sort of test in the background. What is a better fuse to use? The INJ thats next to EFI3?.

    Yes 10A EFI No.3 is part of the Leak Detection Pump cycle that occurs after shutdown.

    The INJ should be fine, although some fellas are very adamant not to use any circuit pertaining to engine control/function.

    If you had the additional box, there'd be 2 choices to tap into that wouldn't affect engine control features.
