i dunno, the m12 line really doesn't work the greatest with higher-draw loads.

for repeated uses, i'd really recommend an m18 hammer drill over that

Yea. I’m a commercial electrician and have the m18. I’ve had it for years and works great. A few coworkers got the m12 and are happy with it as well though

I have a Ryobi 1” SDSplus and a Milwaukee m18 hammer drill I’m all set in this field for what I do, but the thought for the price did cross my mind. I don’t use my tools to justify the Milwaukee label and price tag but they are nice when I do use them.

Use my M12 Fuel ratchet a shit ton.

I've got the old version (for years now) but I've put it through a ton of shit and it still runs perfect; surprised with the amount of torque it has compared to a non-Fuel.

The use of "M12" means battery-operated.

But you're right about the wrench part; maybe asking about 2 parts in 1 question

Thanks! I’m guessing as far as space it takes up while using it’s similar to a regular ratchet

referring to both. M12 ratchet and hand tools. Was looking at some tools I have and may be ready for some upgrades/replacements

I do also use my Milwaukee ratchet set a lot as well; it's been my go-to for almost 2 years now since I sit it on top of my Pack Outs. Only time I don't use it is when I need to use my impact instead.

Unless you get it on sale (got mine for a great deal at Home Depot), the Icon socket wrench from Harbor Freight feels damn near identical to the Milwaukee.

You might compare the Milwaukee with Icon from Harbor Freight for hand tools. Some of the Icon tools are Pretty Good Quality, Not quite up to Snap On Standards on Thier Rachets but the Wrenches, Sockets and Screwdrivers and Pretty Nice.

Yea I’ve had a brother in law and cousin who are both mechanics say they both stopped buying snap on and are going more the icon route. Just was curious on everyone’s reviews for who does have milwaukee ratchets/open end wrenches. I’m pretty sold on the M12 3/8” Ratchet.

I can't say enough good about the M12 ratchet. It's probably my most used tool in all of the garage and now that I've had it for a few years I simply can't imagine not having it.

I would recommend opting for the Fuel version over regular. I have an older Fuel version and it's great but I hear the newer model is faster (which would be an awesome improvement). For me, in an ideal world, I'd have a non-Fuel 1/4" drive ratchet for lighter duty situations and tighter spaces (head is smaller) and then a 3/8" Fuel version for everything else. I don't see any point in having 1/4" and 3/8" Fuel ratchets as they are essentially the same tool with just a different drive size - so just pick whatever drive size you prefer.

I'm loving that installation driver. It's now my go to for any medium/light duty needs. I've got a nice setup with two Packout parts organizer boxes. The Medium with Kaizen foam holds the driver and accessories and the Small holds a large assortment of bits. I'll probably add some drill bits as well. Just snap them together and grab & go!.
