I can take the PE right after the FE, just can't get the license until the 5 year mark

 

hmmm

well that's weird

 

They changed it in Utah I guess, maybe everywhere idk.

getting back into study habits after 5 years would be hell

 

For the FE exam, ya, that's why I haven't taken it lol
But the PE is supposed to present you with a set of problems that you're supposed to provide written responses to based on your gathered experience... at least that's what I've heard

 

But then you get to spend the rest of your life whining that non-PE engineers aren’t real engineers

 

I'm just in it for the money

 

I heard that it's just another test

 

Didn't even realize these cupholders were back there, score. Ones in the dash are broken, have new ones to put in whenever I manage to find my putty knife so I can wedge the old ones out.

Pretty sure it’s open book and you’re allowed to bring a cart for your books.

I passed the fe, but haven’t bothered with a pe. Really depends on your field tho.

We struggled to find an Environmental PE for our senior design class, I guess not many get it.

But I'm getting a masters which goes towards the required time anyway so might as well.

I think they changed the open book part too, now they just give you a massive formula sheet


But idk

 

Did you know you can put engineer on your usiness cards if it's not actually a really engineering degree? I like to call myself an electron conduit optimization engineer

 

Just do cantilever. I have a couple of the pivot arms if you want them before they go to the trash.
