Just asking cause I've got two requests for some signs, and after multiple people saw the clock I brought in to deliver I got a few more people tossing ideas.

Will be nice to have a small but constant flow of work coming through.

Ah an ex of mine moved to Portland and rebranded herself as a hippie.

 

Portland is an absolute shit hole. I didn't live there, but my company is headquartered there and had to visit a few times a year. It's really gone downhill. The homeless/drug problem has been an issue all up and down the west coast, but Portland seems to be a Mecca. I used to enjoy visiting, don't feel remotely safe anymore.

 

Nah. I got stationed in astoria. Should be leaving Key west in June, and gonna spend a month “overlanding” to Oregon

 

Astoria is a cool town, I bet you'll like it there.

Lots of movie history in Astoria, but beyond that PNW coastal towns are pretty unique style wise and the folks that live there are usually some of the most chill you'll find. Get used to grey skys and windchill though, it's definitely different from Key West, oh also way less chickens running around

Astoria is awesome. The coast is actually pretty awesome overall.

 

Absolutely. Could get you $200k base, with another $100k in perks (bonuses, fuel card, per diem, personal vehicle allowance etc). Would need to have mission critical facilities or construction management experience though.
