I was so close to buying a 660 last month but lack of center stand was a deal breaker.

 

In the micro bag, not much. Tire pressure gauge, wallet, keys, a battery for the phone in case of emergency, phone, aspirin, Kleenex.

When I take the big bag, there's flashlights, USB cords, sunglasses, straps, maps, gloves, spare glasses, plastic cleaner, microfiber towels.....maybe a sink in ther somewhere, too.

 

Wallet, smokes, a knife, extra phone cable, chapstick,

 

man all you guys stuffing your tank bags and here I am just stuffing my pockets and the underseat storage

 

Pretty much the same as other folks stated...something to drink, snacks(usually something like granola bars), wallet, bike registration, sunglass/eye glass case, a baseball cap, and sunscreen

 

The rain cover, a pair of gloves and that's it #advposerlookonly

 

I’ll be using my tank bag primarily to run the wiring that supports my tablet/CarPlay system, I’ll probably also throw a microfiber towel in there, I store most of my stuff in the saddlebags though.


Called the local dealer to inquire about the Vstrom 800DE adventure and the dealer says they can’t even order it yet. Might try to find a used 650 if I think that would satisfy the itch.

 

Basically

Sometimes I find myself wishing my helmet had a little mouth pouch for snacks. Or some automatic feeder

Need to get your hands on some U-2 Pilot food. Basically a toothpaste tube with a long straw they can slip into their helmet with a port.

 

Modular helmet, thin gloves and a handlebar mounted cup holder?

Wonder how that truffle mac and cheese tube tastes...i wouldn't even need to drill my helmet either, could probably just stick that tube straight through the chin vents

 

They're pretty good from my limited experience with one tube. But you really have to bend your head around "taste =/= texture" like with normal food.

 

Yeah I could definitely see that being an obstacle for me haha. whatever it takes I guess

The best part is the feedbucket can be used in either direction in case of bad road food.!
