With the way back door is now.
Gonna have to up the ante. Gonna cost more than a set of axles to get up that thing.

Who makes or what flipped (shackle down from hanger) shackle/hanger kit will work for a Deaver U540HD sua kit? I'm only finding standard shackle position or h70 long spring kits.

Deaver U402's are spring over axle springs. For the U70 or U70HD JD Fab's spring under kit is made for the Deaver H70 and H70HD springs. 2005+ Toyota Tacoma Rear Spring Under Kit – JD Fabrication If you have more questions just call them. Contact – JD Fabrication

I looked at doing something like that with the rear shackle from 2005-2023 Tacoma HD Replacement Shackle-1910010 (4xinnovations.com) you will still need to weld on a spring perch, new brake hoses, new shock and shock mounts (otherwise you would not be able to take advantage of the available up travel) and at that point you might as well go with JD Fab's set up. Much higher quality, a complete package that is all designed to work together that will out perform by a big margin and now is mostly bolt on if you use the new frame reinforcement plates. With the u539/540 springs and 4xInnovations shackle I have no idea what the ride height would end up being. Buy once Cry once and do the JD setup. It is proven to work very well. Next step would be trailing arms and back half.

Every part we make went on this truck plus a supercharger and Fox double gold valve shocks all the way around… such a sleeper!

And we modified the sliders to attach to the frame brace… this truck is a stiff one now

For you guys who have messed with a lot of fiberglass. Do you think the mcneal +2 will cover a -30 offset 3.5 backspace 17 x 9 wheel with 35 x 12.5's? Or do you think I need a +4? My tires stick out too much with the stock fenders and have gotten pulled over twice now.

Maybe I’m missing something but couldn’t you just go look at your truck, measure how much you stick past the fenders and then order the appropriate glass?

The issue is I cut my stock fenders too much to where I don't trust the measurement. From the way they are cut now it's about 3 inches. I think they came out another inch or so so I think the +2 will be fine. Just wanted to see if anyone had experience with them to make sure so I don't waste 1500 dollars just to get pulled over again.

Ahh, I gotcha. If you need total tire coverage I would just play it safe and go +4. I have the 2.25 LT and those same spec wheels and from my previous measurements, the +2 wouldn’t fully cover it.

Yeah I am just thinking the +4 might look wierd when I am stock length. I might just risk it and get the +2. I think it will look better.

Ah, I didn’t realize you were stock width. I’d do the +2 then.

For reference: I am stock width, stock fender/flares, 17x8.5" 0 offset wheel with a 285/75/17 tire with an overall width (sidewall to side wall) of about 11.4". Tire side wall is protruding out about 1 1/4" front and about 1" rear. A ruff estimate is you will be an additional 2" farther out. So 3" rear and 3 1/4" front. I do believe there are other brands that do a 3 or 3.5" fender.
