Actually going to pull the tune off. I had it done in CA a dude called it CVC tune. Performance 91 tune for 5.29s and 35s but the truck is going back to mostly stock so it's way to much for the 32s I'm running now

Would that need to be configured for my truck or just swap? Then isn't the Tcm different too? Cuz that's got some programming changes too

Really not 100% on it but it would just need a swap. I know for a 2nd gen you can swap or replace. A few that are heavy into tunes have a spare in case they brick theirs.

Have you asked any tuners on here?

I haven't. I have a appointment at the local dealer Monday to get it flashed. Just was curious if anyone here at access to techstream and wanted to make a few bucks

@crashngiggles Not sure if these measurements will help, but from the top where the handle goes in, should be about 56mm to the top of the part that sticks out that holds the thumb screw. Then from the top of that to the center of the thumb screw should be about another 8mm.

Depends on the group. The best GMRS radio in the world doesn't do a damn thing if the group is using CB. That said most people use GMRS nowadays. Even trucks - half don't have radios, the other half usually aren't on, and the chatter is just truck drivers bitching at each other at merge points.

Id say GMRS but have a CB handheld as a backup just in case.

And up in the north Maine woods, the truckers use CB and MURS. MURS is open and no license needed so if you go up there, you'll want that handheld as well (no, GMRS and MURS do not overlap)
