It's less Tacoma and more mod
I think that might be more to do with the house you're in than the climate. Not saying it's your fault but usually houses that have mold issues in the northwest are poorly taken care of otherwise it's like anywhere else the inside of the house should never have mold

I've seen this sort of thing done before out of pragmatism rather than red tape. I worked at a company that had a barcode-based inventory system. Since everyone had barcode scanners in hand, the devs created barcodes representing certain control sequences. Scan an item, scan its source bin's barcode, scan it's destination bin's barcode, scan the "done" barcode, on to the next one.

Shell commands in QR codes is next level, and you'd better hope a smart-but-disgruntled operator never figures out the scheme, but... respect.

Honestly that sounds accurate as fuck. The rental house were living in was built in 1914 as a single family house. It was converted into a 4 bd rental in the late 80s and they must've been high as shit off cocaine when the did the renovations cause its a very special kinda fucked up work.

Regretfully the cost of living on this coast is so high we'll never be able to own land or a house, plus the majority of both our families are on the east coast so it makes sense to put permanent roots out there

awww it's funny how she was so quirky about that. I think she just needed to be able to check up on you even if she pretended to hate it like a rebellious teenager :)

Honestly fellas, I'm drunk AF. Nothing like working on a small engine out of the back of my work rig in a random ass parking lot to bring back my younger years lol20230217_180358.jpg

OK but if you're not hooking the output shaft to something outrageous what are you even doing

Barcodes are great like that, like a keyboard macro on paper.
I always love that the manual for a barcode reader is just full of barcodes used to change settings.

It’s temporary, thankfully. Longer term is just make bash scripts to do it all over ssh, but that requires involving a bunch of people to sign shit.

maybe on Monday I can turn all my passwords into QR codes

Been busy all freaking day, only to get home and having to bake a bunch of rolls

    20230217_212148.jpg

40 in the bin, a few on top cooling, dough being proofed in the stainless bin, more rolls in the oven, and another dough getting mixed

The shimmery glisten on those rolls tells me I'm not aloud to eat at your house.

I'd be kicked out for overindulgence
