    Just 3 tons of fun!!!

Keep us up to date on how that stuff works out. I'll be making that investment sometime this year. I've just been getting a bunch of other stuff done before I make that plunge.

    Solo LT = done
    Dual cases = done
    Rear axle is next
Then I'll be doing the Solo spindles, Heim steering upgrade, and RCV axles

Nice man. I need to do 63s in the back next. As far as buying the 3 solo upgrades, they all go with eachother, so you kinda need them all at the same time. Also, hiem steering comes with the uniball conversion now.

63s will be getting done with my rear axle.

Oh ya, I know about the Spindle, steer, axle package. Makes it a tough (expensive) pill to swallow. But I think it'll be worth it. I'm suprised it took a couple months for you to get it. I was, literally, in their shop a few months ago and all of the pieces were sitting on the shelves.

Yeah I ordered in august2022. It wasn’t a problem with stocking their own parts, it was a problem with RCV.

For sure. Bobby is a friggen legend. That's a solid company. I'd been eye ballin Solo LT for 4 years, and this was finally the year to do it. We went down and picked up from the shop because I wanted to thank them for their help, in person. The shop is basically a Baja 500/1000 museum of body panels from the different trucks he's built. We hung out and talked with Bobby for about an hour.

Looks great! I just did similar! I put in a '02 4runner leather steering wheel, but mine had a 2 wire airbag and I used SEM trim paint for the column cover. I also put in a mileage-corrected '99 guage cluster with a tachometer. Ive been working on improving the interior of my '01 base model. Its crazy how the steering wheel makes it feel better.

Finally got these bolt on outboard shock mounts finalized and installed. I ended up using a 11” travel bilstein with 170/60 valving since I don’t have much weight in the back. Ride is super smooth now, but I obviously need to do more testing.

What size tires are you running? Have you flexed it out to see if it will rub? Did you just swap the driver and passenger stock lower mounts? I’d love to outboard, but I’ve always considered frenching the mount into the frame for clearance

    I have 255/85 with 1.25” wheel spacers.
I did flex it and held a shock in there, but I haven’t had a chance to do a real world test with it installed.
Both Tacoma lower mounts are the same. The new looking mount pictured is from a Toyota pickup, they have the opposite shock setup.

Super simple stuff. Had a new torsion spring and bushing kit to quiet my annoying clutch spring that’s been squeaking for 10 years. After fighting it for 45 mins I threw in the towel and installed the linear spring I had sitting in my parts pile for 5 years.

If anyone wants a torsion spring and bushings they are yours.

Also aimed my recently installed odyssey sprayers. Love the new pattern.
