Hey I just purchased a set of the Tacoma XB Gen 2 headlights with the white DRL…. I have a 2023 Tacoma SR…. I installed the headlights and everything is good to go except the DRLs are amber and not white when the headlight position is to auto. I don’t want amber DRLs, I want the white ones. Is there a way to fix this? Please help

I’m on it, I had thought someone on here had mentioned this issue before and could provide some help.

That's the correct part number for the White DRL, at first Morimoto sent me white when I ordered amber. Maybe they packaged it incorrectly?

I sent them a message, they aren’t open today for a phone call. I feel like I’ve seen multiple others on here who stated they had the same issue. Amber when in auto, white when in DRL off. This is a 23 SR

Wired up per instructions and all the YouTube videos out there… everything is 100% functional except for the DRL color.

It’s simple… just turn off the “daytime running lights on” inside the head unit under vehicle settings. On sr/sr5, the drl circuit is tied with the turn signal circuit, which is why the Amber drl is on. Simply turn drl off inside the head unit and you’ll be good to go. As long as the fuse tap is used, the drls will go to white.F0468CC1-CDB1-4929-9B9E-81BFA16AD7DA.jpg DD645A1B-4CC6-4205-BC16-458C4364A230.jpg
