Took my 2007 2.7L to emissions and it passed! I asked the kid doing the test if he could drive a stick (in a not serious way, I know they need to). Was cool that he said he drives one every day.

Built this platform for the mutt. Took about a couple hours. Cost in total was about $50.

Love it!!! I’ve been considering one but I have just covered the rear seats with a dog cover. I wonder how much more she would like the platform ?

Thanks! I think she immediately felt more sure footed back there. I just used the carpet squares with adhesive backing onto the wood. If there is enough interest, I could easily put together the measurements and my method to this.

Installed this auxbeam controller in preparation for the hybrid bumper and lights going on it. Was able to clean up the ditch light wiring which was nice.

I'm having trouble understanding what your cab looks like. I have a 2014 extended cab and not sure how I'd pull something like this off. I've often wondered about building something for my passenger seat. My dog is giant and can't sit comfortably with the center arm rest, and I often need the back seat for the kids.

I have a double cab, and the seats are folded down. Oh man, sounds like the easiest solution there is to buy a double cab! Lol. Maybe building like a platform with support in the leg area and a wall to keep your dogs paws from slipping between the seat and arm rest?

Yeah, sort of a challenge to do in the driveway. Following the instructions made it pretty straightforward despite a lot of steps involved. Actually mounting the bumper was the easiest part. Luckily, most the bolts on my truck are in good shape and come out without much hassle.

And another shot of the truck in more flattering light:

    Retired/Hobbyist old as f***
This is why I like the older 2nd gen access cabs. I had the 2008 Off Road access and a 2012 SR5 access cab. Sold the 2012 to my son and kept the 2008 for the rear seat setup. That fold flat rear seat floor is so much better than the ones in my old 2016 and 2012. The newer 2.5 and 3 gen rear access seats are certainly more comfortable if you carry passengers. I very rarely have someone in the rear seat and that is just my teen granddaughter for short drives. A big towel will cover the flat floor quickly and make it more pet friendly and it is a nice large flat space for hauling large items and boxes. I have seen others swap 2.0 gen rear seats into 2.5 gen access cab trucks for the flat flooring. At least it still provides some seating if it is ever needed. Better than a rear seat delete because of the remaining "steps" from the storage bins.

I’ve done so far a 3.5 in lift 33in wildpeak pot ditch lights body armour bumper so many things to this truck unfortunately the previous
Owner didn’t take the best car of it so now I’m dealing with the problems like the front control arm cams sized into the bushings that’s the next project to take on.

Funny… I was thinking that at 6’ , my driver seats sit too far back to lay down the back seats against the driver seat flush enough… maybe they are at a height they can do that?

    Multi Day Project…

Installed a BA 4x4 Bumper and modified it to fit my custom front crossmember/skid plate.
    396C0C21-19BB-4445-AA2A-86F0CF05FF33.jpg
Bought some lightbars and some push button CH 4x4 switches. (There is a little trick to get them working properly without sticking).

    Welded my own accessory tray.
E61941DC-B5B1-442A-B7F4-9762BF1A7440.jpg 4 ga power/ground, 100 A Circuit Breaker, 120 A Relay to power Fuse Panel only with ignition on via an AddaFuse, 6 fuse tray, and as many switch relays as I could fit in one area and my subwoofer fuse.

Here are the small CH 4x4 Switches. I had to take them apart and grease them to make them pop out properly. Also the switches are on the outside of the housing so you can literally pull them out. Kinda disappointed after spending like $80 on them thought they would be better built so I don’t blind people.
