Solid Amber LEDs in the Scoop

Does anyone know if this has been done? I saw a Ford F150 Raptor driving in the daytime the other day and loved the small, forward facing amber driving lights. Made me think about putting two or three in the useless hood scoop.

Any ideas/recommendations/experience???

 

I know there is one guy on here with the knight rider LED scoop mod. I have the same lights and was going to do it but never got around to it. The LED light bar is still sitting in my room. I'll eventually do it some day.

I had this same thought. I am leaning towards it not looking good, though.

 

those are stock running width lights since its so wide, normally the lights are on top of the cabin

I thought lights on the top of something were for clearance, to tell the height, not the width. In this case they are more of just a marker light. Kind of like this just a different placement
