I started at 5 on bikes. I have had 4 wheelers, but never was as comfortable as I am on bikes.

They're not as popular in the Northeast (in the trail systems we ride) as are ATVs and UTVs. Something about perceived safety, I guess.

I think I have settled on a rackless system. This is a Tusk Highland x2 on a CRF230(I think). I would love to have the Mosko Moto or Giant Loop, but I just can't justify the cost for how little I will actually use this stuff. I already have the Olympus tank bag with no complaints.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
Nice to see Tusk come out with something comparable. I picked up some Mosko stuff used, and was about the only way I could justify the cost as well…and I usually don’t get sticker shock.
I guess my hesitation is that I had ridden for over 20yra with dry bags strapped down that I picked up for $10 a piece at the army surplus store.

I would easily justify the cost if I were travelling a lot. To be completely honest, I just want the look and hope to do a few weekend rides/camps.

I crashed hard one day, and ripped the hell out of my 80L. Sucked throwing that thing away.

Been debating on a new DS bike. Looking hard at the T7. I ride pretty fast Offroad, and the 1190r has been great, but I am wanting to try something else. I had a 690r, but I didn’t like the rake and limited turning.

You should treat yourself to a 2 wheeler. Most fun I have ever had. My ATVs and quads have their place, but the 2 wheel action gets your blood pumping!

If you’re ever down in NC, I started up an adventure touring biz. I teach people how to ride both on and off-road. I have all the bikes from 50cc-1200cc and all the gear to fit a child to adult. The courses range from newbie to getting ready for a Hare Scramble.
I have lots of trails built up, from obstacle course, FSRs, to hard enduro.

Come stay in a Yurt and learn how to ride with someone who puts your safety and mindset as priority. Massive amounts of fun guaranteed. We also have a drift boat and offer trout guiding.

    Just read through all this.

Definitely do the 550 ECU and exhaust.
    Exhaust made a noticeable difference.

The ECU woke the rest of the bike up.
    Worth every penny.

I am set on that. I just can't decide if the Yosh exhaust is worth the extra monies over the Moto-X.

Buddy runs the Yoshi on his.
    Sounds really nice.
    Took forever to come in.

Running a Black Widow on mine and have been pleased as well.
Half cost of the Yoshi and took less than a week to arrive too.
