The "horrendous problem" was in reference to all the bad parking I see on the daily, not this instance. Obviously I don't care about sharing parking spots or I wouldn't have parked there with one car already encroaching lol. Are we just excusing bad parking now because I ride a motorcycle? It's a spot right next to an urgent care that no one else could have parked in, in a lot with parking spaces that are plenty wide enough, so I'm glad I could leave other spots free instead of taking yet another one.

Sorry you seem to have a problem with motorcyclists, lane splitting is legal in CA if you didn't know, and safer for all parties involved when done correctly. And if your post was sarcasm, sorry I missed it.

I always park diagonally and take up as much of my space as possible. Because stupid cage morons. People also like to put their shopping carts where bikes are parked.

I've considered that, but ultimately don't want them getting upset about it and taking it out on my bike. Also leaves space if another bike wants to park in the spot behind me..hell two more bikes could park in my spot staggered behind me if they were willing, and it wasn't cramped like in the pic. I just try to center it as much as possible so that even if they throw the doors wide open, it won't hit my bike and cause any damage, nor would they accidentally hit it if they swing a little too wide/tight coming into the spot. Hopefully.

I truly don't understand why he chose to attack me over my picture lol.

There is literally no reason to park like a douche nozzle and encroach upon the parking space of a motorcycle in a car spot because for one thing that is not your parking spot, for another when the motorcycle leaves a car can’t get in there. That’s just bullshit, man.

I’ve seen people here in California park their bikes diagonally, presumably to prevent ass hats from doing this.

You post a picture and caption it horrendous. I'm supposed to know you didn't really mean it. Really? You "obviously" don't care about sharing when it's your mother over the line, but when a stranger parks and leaves you more room than on your mother's side, now he must be an asshole?
Safer for all parties "when done correctly". Sure. When was the last time you saw a biker splitting lanes at less than 20 MPH faster than traffic? The word is "safely", not "correctly". It's the law. Bikes come through so fast nobody knows they're coming, and a car may have already started a lane change. Nobody feels sorry for the biker who died being stupid.
Do I have a problem with bikers? Only that I am not physically able to ride anymore. And splitting? In stopped traffic, an asshole opened his fucking door on me once and sent me flying. I limped for a month. Legally it was my fault, I was riding the double lines. My only consolation was his door was fucked worse than my bike.
Did I attack you? Was my comment sarcastic? Neither. Just trying to make you see that sharing goes both ways. There was room for everyone, nobody got squeezed in that parking spot, he left all the room you could have needed. But then, of course you have to pull the discrimination card because you ride. Of course you win, that guy obviously doesn't need such a big SUV, does he?

Again, horrendous was in reference to the bad parking jobs I see daily in this center, including the picture i posted, not specifically that picture only. A parking job is pretty horrendous when it wastes an entire spot. Had it just been one of them who parked poorly, I wouldn't have bothered posting it, as there still would have been room for someone else if the other parked properly.

I don't care about sharing a space whether it's my mom or anyone else, as long as I can get onto my bike safely and it isn't at risk of being hit by any surrounding cars. The picture in question, both my mom and the other person parked, are assholes, and I told my mom as such so she was aware of her shitty parking. They aren't assholes because they bother me with their poor parking, but because it limits who can park in between them for as long as they stay, both of whom stayed for a full 8 hour workday. Does that make sense to you? Perhaps I should be thanking them because they isolated a spot that no one can use except me?

I'm not sure what you mean by sharing goes both ways. No one is supposed to share parking spots, it's one spot per vehicle, excepting trailers/oversized vehicles that physically can't fit in one, or motorcycles which can easily fit more than 1 per spot.

As far as the discrimination card...explain? lol. I chose to park there BECAUSE I have a bike, I never said they parked like an asshole because they saw a bike there lol. You need to improve your reading comprehension, and stop jumping to conclusions with limited information. Nowhere in any of my posts did I claim I was being victimized for having a bike. All I did was post a picture of two bad parking jobs, which I more readily noticed because they were both adjacent to my motorcycle. For what it's worth, I'm sorry you had to deal with that guy who opened his door on you. He should have carried some fault regardless how/where you were riding, that is a pretty grievous offense especially in CA. No reason or justification to swing open your door on the road, traffic or not.

    Cheers my dude.
