Yep, I don’t notice any difference at all from when it was stock.

Another vote for 5100's. I'd also recommend that if you lift, do the ECGS bushing while your at it.... especially if you do your own wrenching.

Stage3motorsports has 5100's for $390 shipped. You still need blocks or AAL for rear.

I installed 5100's on 4th perch, original coils, Progressive AAL in the rear, ECGS bushing and 265/70r17's on my 2023 Off Road. It rides great. It's a little more harsh than the Off Road shocks but it is significantly more stable and doesn't nose dive when braking. This gave me a 1.5" front and about a 1" rear lift.

Still all stock here. I just pay attention where I take it. Make sure I don't go to the deep end of the pool. So far , so good. Everyones trucks here look real good .

This happens to be a recent picture.

    6112/5160, clip position 3/4 out of 6.

If you have the budget for 6112 (which is still on the cheap side for most "good" suspensions) I highly recommend it. It's a fantastic ride, as long as you set the clips to preserve some downtravel.

I installed a 6112/5160 kit today. I had spacers up front and I am glad I went with this set up. I drove it after the install and the ride quality is definitely noticeably better than the stock set up. Set at 10/8.

I have the TRD lift kit, which is basically bilstein 5100s with trd brand on them

I didn't install them so I couldn't help ya there. I'm one of those lazy and mechanically handicapped people that went to dealership and said put this on that

how big of a job is the ecgs? I’m not a mechanic by no means so I’ll probably pay Toyota to do it. How come they don’t come with whatever you replace it with from the factory? What do you replace it with?

did you do the ECGS bushing everyone does too for some reason? I don’t see why you have to replace it.

I did my '13 and '20 the exact same way and both look and drive great. 3" block in the front and an add-a-leaf in the rear. Most on here will tell you how it's terrible to do that but I've been driving a Tacoma with the same set up for 10 years now with zero issues. I had 285/70r17s on the '13 and 285/75r16s on the '20. No rubbing and again, both handle and drives great. I DO NOT take it off road though and it's 2wd so I can't give you an opinion there. You said looks though so there you go.

do you have pictures of either set up like from the side view? And 3” spacer in the front? That’s big. Usually they are like 1”-1.5”

I don’t plan on it either. Please let me know how it does! Your truck looks great to me. That’s how I want mine to look.

Thanks. I get an alignment Tuesday morning so I won't be driving it until then. I am running 235/85/16's. I like tall skinnies but I can see how a 275 or 285 would look really good as well.

both sides are on the 4th perch for the 5100’s? And why is ecgs necessary? What do you replace it with that’s better than factory parts?

Which progressive AAL did you use to only get 1"?

I have spend a lot of time researching and looking at pictures and with my budget concluded I wanted to do the 5100's on the 4th setting with the progressive AAL if the rear. I was hoping for closer to 1" in the rear, but am ok with 1.5" as I want to maintain some rake because I don't want it leveled. Leveled is for SUV's, not trucks.
