They are all good oils, but Mobil 1 seems to be easy to find. JMO.

I use Pennzoil synthetic. I started using that about 2 weeks after I bought my truck so I can't really compare to non-synthetic oil. My bad.:(

I thought about using RP or Amsoil, but they seem extremely hard to find. I can get M1 pretty much anywhere. I have used M1 in previously vehicles, I like it, and will continue to use it for my Tacoma. Plus, M1 is the synthetic that my dealership uses, so it will be the same oil if I ever get it changed there.

i read a long time ago about reading the oil stamp on the bottle. the api, sae, and acea standards. and decided to not pay for the premimum cost synthetics. So I use the Car quest brand synthetics. No problem so far and the price is not bad too.

Jeez alot of you guys are using Mobil 1!! I wonder if I should switch brands?! But I've been using the pennzoil synthetic for about 2 years. Should I change brands, and does anyone know why mobile 1 is preferred so much?

Not sure about that motorkote video. If you look at when they test the motorkote oil, the pressure bar never moves, you will hear clicking but that is it. When it test the other brand, the pressure bar is moving fast.

NO MODS YET! 20" Enkeis with NT420 performance tires coming soon...inspired by genxer36.
    Hi,
I see the benefit of using synthetic is less frequent oil changes. Won't this void the warranty?

Also, I don't have to use "Toyota Genuine Oil" do I? If I use Valvoline and Penzoil it won't void the warranty? I used those brands for years.
