If I get a new one it would be a Pro, add the Westscott front level kit, add a 1 inch rear block, add some 285s with the wheel spacer, tint the glass and be done! However I can't part with my 2018 Sport. I got too much into it, looks as good as any pro, I don't go off road anymore, its garage kept and sitting at 20K miles. Lift, exhaust, grill, heated leather, wheels, tires, sound system, remote start, and more. I'm still 20K less than a new Pro, but that would be my next one!

How will I know if the Truck has the 'Advanced Technology Package / options?" Is there a code on the window sticker ?

It should list it on sticker or on the vspec sales person sends you.

Is there supposed to be a transfer case skid plate on the TRD OR model?

Ugh, I was deep in negations and I caught them (Keyes Toyota in Van Nuys) trying to hide $3K markup to window plus $1000 for some fooking KARR Security crap.

    I walked.

Day was not completely wasted as I found out I LOVE the Silver metallic.

    The hunt continues.

I agree. There's no way I'd buy a new car without rear cross-traffic alert, it's so handy in parking lots.

Well, just to finish this thread:

Ended up with a Ice Cap 2023 TRD OR 4x4 w/ only the LED headlamp upgrade. Bought from Longo Toyota for $500 under window. Nice basic 4x4 off road for me to build. Longo had lots of trucks in inventory, but none with the Technology pkg. Just don't see that here as I looked a quite a few dealerships. Pretty much had to be a TRD Pro or Premium for that stuff.

More important were the Cali-raised CAT shields I just purchased since I live in this beautiful hell-hole known as So. Calif.

    Thanks everyone for your replies!

Well played and congrats- you’re gonna love your truck.

Great call on the LED’s. Not only are they a significant functional upgrade, they’ll also add value in the future if/when you decide to trade or sell (unlike floor mats, exhaust tip, etc..)

Was $500 “under window” under MSRP? Sometimes it’s different, as in “Dealer Window.”

    $500 under MSRP

President's Day Sale, plus I had been emailing their digital sales manager and he mentioned the under MSRP offer, prolly as an incentive to get me to do the long drive. I walked on the lot without an appointment, I showed email to sales associate during negotiations and they honored it. Longo is great. It was worth the hour and a half drive. I highly recommend Longo for any Toyota/Lexus purchase. I bought a '98 4Runner there (new) and it was the same experience 25 years ago.

Theres a thread about the cat shields made by CR. After reading it, I decided not to buy them.

    I went with the 3.99% @ 48 mo.

I went back and forth on which CAT shield to get and finally settled on the CR because Stainless and Access to the trans pan and plugs without having to remove the shield. Plus ease of install. It's what was right for me.

Nice. I went with 3.99% as well but 36 months.
