Did the same general thing once on a road bike where the pedal had become semi-unthreaded. Stepped down at full power while pounding out of the saddle
and the pedal stripped clean the final threads and my foot went into the void. The bike pancakes to the side and you slam into the ground and tumble. Not desirable.

 

Any kind of market out there for a lightly used superboost rear hub, Industry 9 1/1?

I’m thinking of having a SB rear wheel rebuilt around a boost hub vs trying to sell the SB wheelset and starting over.

Thanks, it’s okay. The hurt shoulder from Windrock took the lick today. Better than having two hurt shoulders I suppose, just the already sore one is more sore.

 

I don’t remember which road you live on but between north of 50, west of 15 south of the Potomac and east of the Appalachian trail there is ton of gravel. I haven’t done much exploring on my bike south of 50, I think that’s closer to you? Unfortunately it seems like roads are getting paved over every year. I remember one guy with the VeloPigs saying he was riding old Waterford road in leesburg and saw a Lamborghini having a rough time…I’ll leave it at that haha

@SoCOTaco you should be fine this upcoming weekend. Most trails here dry pretty quickly. Some of the heavily groomed stuff out at Coler takes a bit longer and does get closed. Only rain forecast is Wednesday, trails should be fine by Friday, maybe even Thursday if it's just a quick storm.
