I swear everything in South Florida is a similar situation to yours. This is why most of the business I do is outside of here. Plus, a lot of techs are scared to do anything outside of the norm, like lift kits, so they jack the prices up. Sometimes it's worth the extra drive to go out a few hours.

Example: I am currently on a waiting list at 2 dealerships in North Carolina for a 2023 4Runner TRD O/R (non-premium) in classic silver metallic. Late last year I saw (2) 2022's in Miami. One dealership wanted $12,000 above MSRP & the other $13,000. I get that these are unique times & the demand is high but that's down right disrespectful.

I was the same as you up here in N Florida. I bought my truck in November at Toyota of Sebring. Took 2 weeks to get them to budge but was cheaper then going out of state.

Did you take out the overload when installing the AAL? How is the ride?

Yessir. Overload is gone, HS AAL and .5” block added in. I like the HS block because it goes into the center pin at the bottom of the leafs instead of outside the pack. Rides great, it took away that bouncy/floatiness that the stock OR suspension had and makes it feel more solid. Combined with my E-rated tires it’s stiffer all around and feels more “truck” like.

Your truck looks great! Can you elaborate on your lift, wheels, and tires?

It rubbed a tiny bit on the mudflaps so I removed them. No rubbing now.

Trying to decide between this and an aftermarket lift, toyota wants $3400 for it installed so I kinda want to do aftermarket but like the fact this keeps full warranty. Anyone running a bed rack/rtt on the back as a daily? I'm a bit worried as to how the rear would hold up with that weight as a daily driver and just the blocks. I tried to read back a few pages here and there but 145 pages was not sure where to start lol.

I wouldn't let the block concern you - lots of factory (even larger trucks) come with some kind of block there on the leafs. What exactly is it changing - even without a block, the leafs are still sitting on essentially a platform the size of a block right? You could always add a leaf after the TRD lift as well - or replace the block with the leaf system as well down the road.

$3400 seems high - that's like $1700 in labor. To put that into perspective, my dealership charged me $320 for the labor to install it. Try calling other dealerships maybe and see what their pricing is. The first dealership I called wanted nothing to do with it. The second, the service writer knew exactly what I was talking about, and I talked to the technician after he did it, and he said he's done a bunch of them already. I'd at least give that a shot anyway. There's a good bit of peace of mind - knowing you're driving around in something designed by Toyota (TRD Engineering) and comfort in knowing it's warranted, and some other component going bad, they can't just blame on the aftermarket lift as well.

Just ordered the lift kit itself, thank you @raptorman7 for the part numbers! Paid 3 dollar more than you, but for everything local.

Yeah im leaning towards this right now. Going toyota lift and then adding a leaf if it becomes an issue seems to be the best all around solution. My worry is having that weight on there as a daily driver, not necessarily on the blocks but on stock suspension. It's my first truck, first new vehicle so this might be a dumb question but can it handle a bed rack, rtt and a tonneau cover weight-wise as a daily without starting to sag say, in 3 years from now? With the parts im looking at, that would be around 220-230lbs.

$3400 is what it costs on the toyota site to add it to a new build. Like I said its my first new vehicle so tbh I didn't even really know you could haggle down the price, will call around a few dealerships and see what they can do it for and then talk to my sales guy and see what he can come down to.

Does anyone know if upgrading UCA's will void the warranty?

Not sure where you live, and I really have no idea what is going on, so take what I say with a grain of salt but I have done a lot of research into this talking to various dealers and toyota canada about warranty and what I seem to have learned is that they will not warranty the actual part, or anything that part affects. So I would imagine you keep factory warranty, but if your CV axle goes, they will fight you.

OnX Off-Road Trail Guide. I help OnX map and document routes. I get out all across the United States but based in Michigan
I ordered the lift from a Toyota dealership on eBay back in June 2022. Me and a friend of mine where able to install it on a Friday night after work. One thing to also note. The TSS sensor that comes with it when I plugged it in was saying that it needed to be calibrated. I plugged the one that came on the truck back in and have had absolutely no issues since the install. Multiple off-roading trips and camping trips I can't complain and am happy with the lift. I could feel a difference over the original Trd off-road shocks. I could see potential doing an add leaf in the future. To my understanding if you have the correct add a leaf you will be able to remove the rear blocks but I may be wrong. I have included a few photos of the current set-up. In the photos I am loaded down with all my camping gear and extra firewood.

BTW.... The rear locker was a life saver in the last two photos!
