So long story short is ive been converting my truck back to stock, it has a performance 91 octane tune. Had a friend try to reflash a stock tune in, he couldn't get it to accept it. Today I dropped it off to a toyota dealer and they said that they couldn't get into it either. So I'm kinda lost what to do. Got the tune done in CA. Currently in NH.

Cool. I'll look into that. Was trying to avoid paying a whole nother tuning fee. But I'll see what can be done.

87 would be nice. Also I lost about 1k lbs in armor, 35s down to 31s and removed the 5.29s. Throttle is way to touchy for the truck now

    When was it tuned?
    Who tuned it?
Did they say anything about a locked tune?
    Did they use VF Tuner?
Can you contact the person who tuned it the first time?
Off the shelf tune or custom?

Clearly, if folks are asking for more info then more info might be helpful.

Matt isn't the type of person who would charge you for a tune, to flash you back to stock.

He might require some compensation for his time (he is a full time dyno tuning shop w/ a physical location) so his time is valuable. But simply flashing your truck with the OE calibration via VFTuner would not be anywhere near the cost of a tune.

    Hope that helps.

It does a ton. Thank you so much. I'll give him a call tomorrow.

Ok I wasn't sure what more that was needed. Was done around 2 years ago by CVC tune. Tried to contact him here on forums but not answer yet. Not sure what he used to do the tune but it was custom by him with some tweaks for my liking.
