La Gloria was my go-to probably 15 years back then they got hit with a hurricane and lost a couple years of crops. Rocky Patel was another one. If anyone has a suggestion for golf cigars I'm interested, I used to get bundles of the lonsdale honduran from JR Cigars to smoke on the course and hand out to friends but the last order wasn't that great tbh.

For “golf cigars” I’d just pick the “value line” offerings from the big, known brands that you know you like.
I went half crazy trying to find a fairly decent cheap cigar but a lot of them were just bad, or had a harsh, nasty taste, or turned out to be short filler.
So now I just stay with a known major name when looking for a value box or bundle. I’ve found there’s very little price difference between them and the “bad” cigars.

Weather got cold and I guess I’m not the only one slowed down on smoking cigars from it! Enjoying a DTT Umbagog in the garage. A very solid cigar by Dunbarton, it’s their more cost friendly cigar that has a tougher wrapper leaf and a stick intended for outdoors activities like fishing. I just got another 5 pack of robustos this week so having one from my old stock.

Popped into the new lounge that opened up nearby to enjoy the DTT Stilwell Star Holiday Blend I managed to find in the wild. Interesting cigar blended with pipe tobacco that has some underlying clove notes to it.

Not a cigar I could think of smoking regularly but I did snag a 2nd one which I’ll save for Xmas 2023. Hopefully it’s warmer than 8 degrees next year so I can smoke it at home on Xmas day!

Happy Hour. We got up to a nice 40° today and the back porch is perfect for a monte Cristo, and a nice Jefferson bourbon

I have been buying most of my sticks from cigarbid.com for the last several years. My favorites for a while now are Diesel 7"x58's. MSRP is just under $10/each, I usually end up getting them for around $3.50/each when I bid. That way I can afford to have one every evening :)
