    How's it going everyone?!

I've been talking with Premier West Gear in Riverside, CA and I was able to set up this group buy for all of you. For those that have never heard of Premier, they are a fairly well known shop who specialize in regearing all sorts of vehicles. I've done a lot of research on them and I have not found a single bad review of them so far, so we are in good hands.

With this group buy you will be getting a ring and pinion set, diff rebuild kits, and everything installed for the prices below. These prices are for Toyota vehicles with stock axles. However, this group buy is open to all vehicles, so let all your friends know regardless of what they drive. Prices will vary for other models.

    The pricing is as follows;
    2wd’s:
    $850
IFS Toyota 4wd’s with stock axles:
    $1600
    2007+ Tubdras, Sequioas, Land Cruisers:
    $1750
    (Normal pricing is around $2500-$3000)

Lockers will also be available for purchase and can be installed for no additional labor.

Premier West Gear also offers REM polish with all regears. This eliminates the need to go through a break in period on your gears. Normal pricing for the REM polish is $300 but will be available to us for $250.

To sign up for this group buy:

Please make a post in this thread or private message me with your intent so I can add you to the list. You will then need to contact Premier West and let them know you would like to sign up for our group buy. You will be asked to make a deposit based on what you'll be getting from them. Deposits will go towards your final balance. Deposit's are:
    $150 for 2wd
    $300 for 4wd
If you are planning on getting a locker(s) your deposit will be more. Deposit amount will be determined by Premier.

Once your deposit is placed Premier will go through the rest of the process with you and setup your appointment date.

No, you do not need to be a CA resident to signup for this. If you are willing to make the drive to Riverside, CA, you are more than welcome to signup.

This group buy will be running for 2 months. Plenty of time to start getting deposits ready, finances in line for rest of the cost, and ask your significant other for permission. This is a great opportunity with great savings, you do not want to miss out on it.

If you need to get in contact with me outside of TW you can reach me on my Instagram page @SoCal.Toyotas. This will be shared across multiple platforms including this IG page.

You can get in contact with Premier West at:
    12490 Magnolia Ave. Suite G,
    Riverside, CA 92503

    (951) 320-1390
    sales@premierwestgears.com

Mention that you are looking for information about the SoCal Toyotas' King of the Hammers group buy.

    Ends: April 24, 2023

    What gears do they use?

Nitro, Revolution, Yukon and Motive Gear

    How much for _____ locker?

    Call Premier for a quote

My Tacoma doesn’t have stock axles,(SAS, one tons, etc) can I still join this?

Yes! Your price won’t be the standard Toyota pricing listed above but you are more than welcome and it will still be cheaper than normal pricing

I was planning to re-gear mine in march thru them. I'm in if this group buy fills up by mid-march.

I will add I was there when the doors opened, and they were done about 2:30pm the same day. That was for regear front and rear. I did not have them wire the front locker. However, if you plan on waiting there is not much within walking distance of much interest that I was a where of.

I’m very positive it will. I put some announcement posts up on instagram and had around 30 people say they were for sure in and another like 20 said maybe. As I post on more things I’m sure we’ll get even more interest

Any idea the price for an arb locker? Can those be discounted or is strictly the gears?

I’m not sure honestly. Last time I asked them about a locker they told me to have the person call for a quote on it.

As far as I Know the discount is strictly on the gears. Who knows though, maybe if there’s enough of us we can talk them into getting us a discount on lockers too

I’ll be sticking with stock gearing, just looking to add a locker.

need to research what’s the best gearing for the V8 - have a feeling 4.56 but we shall see.

@kyle11863 will appointments be scheduled after the GB closes? This gives my wallet enough time to breathe lol

The group buy really is for gearing. They can still do it for you, but I’m 99% sure you’re not going to get any savings from the group buy

if you’re having all that work done a regear is really something you should consider having done as they will already be in there. This is especially true if you have/ planning to have bigger tires on your truck. It gives you more power back and puts less strain on the drivetrain
My understanding is they would like to have most of the appointments done by the end of April but you might be able to push them into letting you do it in May. I honestly don’t have much to do with the appointment aspect of it though. They are handling that part of it

Copy. I won’t be putting on bigger tires. All good, I’m emailing a fella named Miguel B. about costs. Thanks though!

No problem. Ask him if he’s willing to give you any discount through the group buy. Its always worth a shot
