Being polish my grandmother always had paczki (polish doughnut) and I have continued on shrove Tuesday also Fat Tuesday. Any reason to have a doughnut is a good reason

Good morning Shane and friends, have a great Fat Tuesday and be sure to eat your red beans and rice today.

I’ve got to use that too, I see more coming.

 

Hanging in there. Been occupied with bunch of things to do at home. Finding some time to do some reloading for newest pew-pew (1911).
I may have time this afternoon to try and catch up here a little.
Wife seems to be doing better this week but kind of the way it's been the last year....good one week down the next almost.

I'm off to do some PM activities, check some oil levels and take oil samples for analysis.

Kinda a puttering around day for me. Need to get the vehicles registration renewed. Get the Tacoma inspected.

Saw that Lowes has an undercarriage pressure washer attachment- might check that out.

Mmmm, I like beans & rice. I just got some nice little green onions too...
Adding onions improves just about anything you cook IMO.

Wonder is I have any sausage in the freezer.

 

Green onions make just about everything better. No sausage in the freezer

If you have this brand up there it make a really good pot without all the soaking dried beans need.

 

I have never taken notice of those brand beans

 

And I thought we could be friends...

I’ve never seen those… any near references texture or flavorwise?

 

There are a few varieties… Regular, Spicy, and Mirepoix. Of course they do other bean types as well as Gumbo base. I believe SAMS club carries it too. I often tease my brother and sister by sending them industrial cans of them…

EDIT: the industrial cans are 108oz
