Alabama thread!

Wazzup man! I’ve lived in or right around almost all of those. I grew up outside of Dothan and lived in Ozark/Brundidge/Troy for a while, spent most of my 20s in Montgomery, and my folks retired to Jemison. Lol

 

Yeah, USAF brought me to Minot, ND in 1989. Been here since. Married a military brat in 1992. Going on 31 years this October. Sometimes I miss Alabama. But then I see the crime rate, and don't miss it that much....lol

 

That sucks man here’s hoping they can get you squared away!

That’s it! I was born in Center Point, but we moved down to Newville when I was 3. Went from there up to Ozark when I was 7 I think.

Shoot I’m sitting here at stopwatch clinic. I’m pretty sure I have a sinus infection. Tends to start happening about this time of year.

Yeah. First time there. I left my house at 9 and just got back. Much faster than my Dr.

 

The only place like that I have ever used is Clinic on 6th. I use to work with the NP that runs it.

 

I have to admit, best service I have had is since the VA took over my medical care. The hospitals know they get paid 100%, so I get in and out in no time.

 

I’ll try to remember to use them next time. This is the first time I’ve been to one for me in years.

 

I have a different opinion of the VA...at least here. They treat these guys like shit. The government should give vets insurance and let them pick where they want to go(with no copay). The VA in Tuskegee is shit. It pisses me off to no end to see how those folks are treated.

 

I'm lucky in that most of the time, I can just get one of the docs to write me something. I honestly don't even know why I used her that time
