I got the black lung just reading this

I knew a chick when we were 18/19 years old that would smoke cloves regularly, she's probably either dead or nearly dead now

Oof, yea.. if she kept the habit up youre probably right lol

I've always had a (what sounds to me) a higher voice than what's "normal" for a guy, plus an unnecessary sensitivity to food flavors. So I actually started smoking to deepen and make my voice raspier and to kill off taste buds so I could eat food like a normal person... plus I was looking forward to early wrinkles cause I've been an old man trapped in a young man's body for years. After many years of smoking my voice hasn't really changed, the face wrinkles aren't as pronounced as I'd like them to be, but at least I can eat yellow mustard without finding it "too spicy"

I had the opposite problem when I was a teenager/early 20s, people used to tell me I should do late night radio lol. I don't get that anymore or maybe it's just cause I avoid people more now than I used to..I think age just caught up to it.

and I was a total straight edge kid until I got out of high school, but other kids would tell me all the time I looked like the guy who knew where to buy drugs and it drove me crazy. I guess the irony is that they just needed to wait a few years

hopefully you can catch Yosemite when it's not crowded, such an impossibly beautiful place but then the sheer volume of people it attracts just ruins the experience, unless you go backpacking further out into the backcountry. I haven't been since Covid though, I heard they were limiting the crowds now and looking to continue that.

I hope he meant yellowstone cause PNW to Yosemite to the badlands is a terrible route east haha.

I was wondering that too haha, but seeing Yosemite before leaving the west coast would still be a good idea IMO if possible.

Danny was right I did mean Yellowstone. We do plan on driving down the Oregon coast and sightseeing, then cutting across the redwoods to Mt Shasta, figured that'll be good enough and we don't have to go all the way to Yosemite lol

I've only seen Shasta driving by or flying over but the Redwoods are a must too for sure. The giant Sequoias further south are even more impressive imo but that would be a long ass road trip

Camshafts definitely don’t install nicely like the FSM. Two guys on YouTube had to turn their intake cam a bit to get the exhaust cam to seat.

Progress is looking good tho man! My chinesium head came pre assembled with complete valve train but the intake and exhaust cams were out of time by a tooth or 2. Major pain in pee hole to fix, but that's probably cause I had never fucked with dual cams before
