yeah it's a solid 12 hour drive getting to Oregon from down here, and that's taking the boring ass 5 freeway up. If you want to hit up the stuff worth seeing along the way it would take a couple days at least

Yosemite would only be two and a half hours away from where I live.

Our CA trip is only going to the redwood national forest and then the upper portion of Mt Shasta.

I could have Marlboro menthols in my hand now.

the last time I smoked a cigarette was had a few drags in San Francisco outside of the smugglers cove bar plastered on rum

Used to chainsmoke back when I was in the military; quit cold turkey a year after I got out.

I’ve never been able to quit nicotine it’s been always my ultimate vice.

vaping now but I know it’s terrible, at least I don’t vape any fruit flavors just straight menthol

also cigarettes are delicious, seriously nothing is better than having a rich meal and sparking a cig after or during the morning coffee. That’s better than any wine paring, cigarette and coffee

You know, it's especially hard especially when it's used as some sort of coping mechanism.

I used to drink heavily, and I mean it was bad along with smoking. But I wanted a better quality of life and I did a hard 180 when I left my ex-wife. Was a real rough time in my life.

Moved, quit smoking altogether, and only drank when I'd socialize or work in the garage for the most part.

Or video gaming, but that's different :anonymous:

good for you bro. I have insane will power but cigarettes or nicotine hold dominion over me. Anything I put my mind too can. Even drinking for how much I can drink it’s as easy as saying no

It's the same as a basic food ingredient like sugars (or the foods that contain sugars in them) and other non-healthy stuff.

We create a habit for ourselves and we think we need that cigarette, or Red Bull, or whatever our poison is. Truth is, you really need to have that desire to want better for yourself if you truly want to kick the habit.

Thank you, but truth is I have a maximum of 1 Red Bull a day. That's my real poison, and it's only in the morning.

Though I'm pretty good at not having one at all during the weekend.
