Depends… is an overlander with Instagram and a YouTube channel? In that case you know the answer

Awesome answers from everyone, thanks! I am more into slow overlanding and jeep trails, I am not planning in getting dual but replacing the lower arm since I have a ton of weight added already but got curious with the optional dual haha :p

Unless you’re doing long travel for greater articulation, then stock length aftermarket lower arms are also quite the waste of money. Unless maybe if they also move the lower ball joint further forward for better tire clearance…

Yeah actually Im doing a lot of jeep trails here in Mexico, articulation is very much appreciated, that is the reason why Im going for a 2.7" lift instead of the 3.5" I currently have, so I can have more down travel and still some lift

Stay stock LCA with Whiteline bushings and you’re good and throw some LCA skids if you feel you need extra protection.

But then you need new upper arms, lower arms, longer half shafts, tie rod extensions, new shocks, etc. Definitely lose some lift. Anything over 2” suspension lift will ride like shit.

I will for sure, the skids are on their way already but will look into the bushings mate

I currently have a 3.5" lift with RC UCAs for that lift but yeah the ride is not the best, super stiff and no downtravel, that is why Im going for an Icon Stage 10

You can define it by the term camping. You drive down a road, dirt or pavement, and camp. Simple. Overlanding is a created term like trail rated or off road.

i think a prelander is a spaceship. you need good shocks for those with all the gravity and stuff.

It's either to run a Coilover and a bypass for generally high speed, high intensity, big hit type stuff, although I see more crawlers starting to do this for spring rate and adjustability or......its for a bro-dozer who wants to show off 2 cheap white shocks.
