Tried to do a change of address at the USPS website. They require a credit card and a charge of $1.10 for proof of identity. I tried every card I have. All of them valid and not maxed out. All declined.
So, okay, I’ll just go to the post office and do it the old fashioned way…
“We’re out of forms until next week. You can do it online”
Soooo, gonna cancel my internet service. Can’t do it online. I signed up online just fine. But whatever. I go to their local office…
“We can’t cancel from this office. You have to call the main office at this number”
After being on hold for an hour and hearing “We value you as a customer. Please hold for the next available operator” for the umpteenth time, I get cut-off.
