do they sell pure copper wiring kits, or cut costs and sell that CCA garbage wire?

You're going to want to get the Audio Control LC7i, and if you don't want to cut the harness, tac0tunes sells wiring harnesses that are plug and play. Just need to run battery and ground cables to the amp along with RCAs from the LC7i to the amp

I can't tell from the pictures, but did you mount the amp to anything? And thanks for all the amswers.

I ordered the Tacoma harness from Crutchfield that was for the 2020 model and then only needed the speaker connectors to put the amp in between the output of the stereo and the speakers. No cutting of the factory wires, just wiring the two ends of the harness that I bought.

No, I did not mount it because I wanted to make sure that there are no heating issues first. I have used 3M Dual Lock fasteners in the past for temp installs in the past and that may be a good option here since there is not much room for it to move around in there anyway.

Looked like copper to me and here is what their product details stated: “Crutchfield wire is made of oxygen-free copper, with no impurities that could raise its resistance to a signal's flow or add interference. Crutchfield wire meets all Consumer Technology Association (CTA-2015) standards for size, resistance, and insulation quality.”

Which harness did you order from Crutchfield? I am going to get the on from Red Wolfe and make a T-harness with the amp input and out put between the radio and speakers. Is this what you did?
