Then became an optometrist. Eye health care is very important, for obvious reasons.

Thank you. I am all about eye health! Unfortunately I was a victim of thyroid eye disease. It’s been a long road to get here. I’m grateful I was approved for Tepezza treatments and that it worked better than expected. Otherwise I’d be looking at another more invasive surgery as well.

Good morning everyone, winter weather advisory today. They’re calling for a 1/2” of ice, this could get ugly. I have a doctors appointment at 1:00pm, just when this storm is going to hit. This may well turn out to be an interesting day. Be safe out there kids.

 

Best wishes with the surgery. As somebody who has had issues with my eyes my entire life, I can relate to your dilemma. I've always said sight is the most important sense we have.

Had a great day yesterday, so I did the first really complete clean up on my truck in 3 Yeats.
And today it rains.

Morning my fellow fanatics! I've been going through all my medical checkups this past year and I'm amazed at how much more they expect you to test for as soon as you turn or near 50!
I haven't needed glasses my entire life, but I expect to need them in the future. Phone use doesn't help as my eyes take longer to adjust for far distance.
The only thing I have to say about getting older is that my expectations are clearer, my patience is shorter, and my goals are about great experiences and nothing material. I actually look forward to the next 10 years....more fishing, more music, more life's enjoyments. And yes....less work travel! lol
