I did see that, looks like a good mod.

That’s one of the first repairs I had to do to mine when I got it, world of difference!

Well the Dr. was not happy that my right leg will not fully extend. He is making me change PT locations and he say I have about 3 weeks to correct it or I will be stuck with it like that and I will limp.. Soooo last two day I have been stretching and doing things that I was not as I thought I was doing good. Let’s just say the knee has been rather sore the last two nights since I started pushing it.

Morning Mark - yeah, I got fussed at for extension a lot. Hurts like heck getting there, but otherwise you're leg is shorter! I worked hardest on that after surgery, everything else got easier.

    :pccoffee: Good Morning SA!

Among some minor putz, today was RAV4 experiment day. Last time I took it to Austin for service, it was a windy day. Whenever the wind is "just right", at highway speeds, it sounds like the sunroof is probably going to pull itself off the car! (Or SUV, or whatever). Did some searching, got on some RAV4 forums, and found it's most likely the roof rack crossbar. Starting in 2019, Toyota made them NOT adjustable from back to front, AND your other choice is to completely remove them. A couple of people tried angled string across the bar, with mixed results. Most found some fairing/deflector worked. BUT, "only some of them fit" the sunroof versions. Because of where the glass and roof meet. But, I decided to try one if I could find a decent "experimental price". EBay for a 34" Yakima "mostly new" at $50 was by far better than new ones. Crossbar is 36", so I know it will fit between the stanchions. And here we go...

So, even with a little foam on the mounts, it's going to sit on the glass edge, not the paint.

Well, it is what it is. So, open up the sunroof and see how it goes!

Well, that is interesting! Once the glass slides back, the little screen riser actually pushes the fairing up and it sits nicely on it's top bar. It has no problem pushing it out of the way at all. And when the glass closes, the fairing is not sitting so low, so the glass just slides right back. I guess that will be OK.

It's got a pretty slick little mounting system, so it's easy to remove. Wasn't nearly as windy as promised, so I only went around the block; once roof open, once closed. Being Texas, we haven't opened it much! I'll hit some highway speeds when I go fill it up later this week.
