it's actually worse than the pics show, top is completely caved in, I'm not tall and I had to duck to sit in it.
The doors have a 3" gap on each side before they even begin to think about touching the B piller, the extra cab panel is buckled from that, not from any impact on the sides.
He admitted he was driving way too fast on the snow, got it sideways and slid until it hit dry pavement and ended up on the top. That had to be over 40mph. 35 and under would have just screeched the tires.

Bummer that that happened; good on you for looking to rebuild it.

This post mentions having a cab of unspecified year, color, and condition... https://denver.craigslist.org/pts/d/westminster-5vz-fe-toyota-engine/7590252939.html

Not to get ahead of things, but if you end up replacing the front end, I'd be interested in the grille and lights to use as face swap parts.

nobody has any idea of how deep I had to dig into my barrel of forgiveness today, even bought the oil to fill the ol' girl up and had to fight back the tears while pulling her plugs to pump the oil out of the cylinders. Seeing it covered in mud and filthy from him and his dumbfuck dad wheeling it and abusing it didn't help. Apparently his idiot dad has been telling him he's a better mechanic, even though their sideyard is filled with derelict vehicles, motorcycles, snowmobiles etc that will never run again because he's a better mechanic.
Brother has spent the last two days trying to replace a front axle shaft on his taco and has no idea what he's doing, even though he's got his cop brothers helping out in the FCPD garage.
He drove it home last night with the stub stuck in the front diff and exposed bearings on the wheel end.
two hour job for an experienced mechanic, three if you take the time to watch a Youtube video and learn it.

A couple from BC that built a Chinook with a Land Cruiser chassis posted a silent youtube video. Many of their comments contain the acronym ASMR. WTF is ASMR? So I had to look it up:

ASMR stands for "Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response." It typically refers to the "tingly feeling" that travels from the head downward that some experience in response to certain sounds, feelings, or descriptions. These can include soft whispering, crinkling paper, or a gentle touch…
    Oh! ASMR = Goosebumps.

So now when I drink a shot of tequila, I can exclaim, I’ve got ASMR!

Hmmm … That doesn’t sound right. I think I will stick with Goosebumps.

Colder than a witch's cootchie out there.
Getting the Tundra windows tinted next week. Just because I think it will look cool. Prolly tint the window on the camper door too, but I can do that one myself.

Our dog can't get enough of the cold. He'll only sit on the couch with us until he gets hot and starts panting and then asks to go outside to lay in the snow.
