Yep. I'm on the not so windy side of the mountains in Bozeman. We got a little wind last night but nothing terrible - just enough to mess up my driveway and make me shovel again. Probably wait until it gets above zero to do that.

I bet if I drove down to the big truck stop in town the parking lot would be jam packed with semis.

    Good Morning :hattip:

Snow clean is done for now. This storm gave us about 14 inches total over 2 days. Final thing was a bit of freezing drizzle. As luck would have it I have an appointment with the heart doctor yet this morning.

    Be safe and shovel wisely.

I know it's not a big deal, but years ago when I finished up my course on being a close combat instructor/martial arts I was having issues with my system due to all the rigorous training including broken ribs. The Dr told me to bring him a fecal sample (for blood) for a single occurrence for three days. The problem was they didn't give me a kit or any instructions.

So as a good Marine, I went home and took care of business and came back to the Quantico Clinic on mainside.

So, there I am.....checking in.....placed a brown bag on the counter and started pushing it to the Nurse and he was accepting it as I was explaining myself. When I got to the stool sample for 3 days part, he immediately began pushing it back to me. The doctor later came out and was in tears laughing and giving the nurse a hard time for not giving me kits to use instead of my ziplock bags! He was scolding the nurse and laughing doubled over at the same time.

I have no shame about it....Marines get the job done! the doctor stated. Then asked if I should have the nurse retrieve the sample from my bags, which resulted in a horrified look on his face. I of course elected to redo the samples with the kits!

    Good afternoon, peoples!

Virginiamarines story had me laughing.. it reminded me of the damn grunts that would 'drop a duce' into the sleeves of the MRE wrappers then stuff them into a trash bag and leave it on my Amtrac so that they wouldn't have to carry it themselves, or dig a proper shit hole and bury it.
