He is pretty good at pulling at the heartstrings. He knows how to get what he wants. Those eyes get me all the time.

I'm doin ok started a new job & getting lots of sledding in. We've been riding so much. Simon doesn't like it when I'm gone.

I love your dachshund! My two hate any inclimate weather. We have to make a wiener path in the snow so they dont have to bounce.

 

My parents have 2 dachshunds, they had 3 but one died at the age of 16. The older fat one hates the snow and hates getting her paws wet, and the young skinny one loves the snow and never uses paths. She just hops around in it like a bunny.

 

This is my Blue Heeler Mix, Wes. He was a rescue that was about to be put down. The last picture is at the shelter prior to us rescuing him. He's a greaet dog and does everything with me. Very protective of our family too, which is a good thing most of the time. And the protectiveness is mostly at our house. He loves frisbee and going on outdoor adventures.

Famous at 2 after having nearly 3 litres of fluid drained from his lungs. Cause unknown. It began filling back up a few days later and he was put down. RIP Fame Game!

 

So sorry man, that's tough. I do know how you feel!
