What year would that be I have a Wittnauer from the 50's ref 426 Supposed to be a bit of a rare piece

 

Not exactly sure , it was father in laws ,it’s old probably 1950 s

I'm actually wanting to build something like that. Where did you pick that up?

 

It is a built watch. To be honest I have been looking for a skeleton watch for a few now and the price was right as I think I spent to much last year on watches.

So I have some inheritance money coming from an aunt. Not a lot of money, maybe $10k-$15k. I have already determined what it is going to pay off, however I am going to take a little bit for myself and buy a watch I have had my eyes on for a while now. When the check comes in, this is what I am going to get.
It will be my daily watch, since I dont swap out very often, even though I have maybe 5 or 6 good watches. My Garmin I am sick and tired of having to plug it in to charge it, that wass my daily watch, just a PITA.
My Bulova is just not doing it for me, the Tag is to small now that I like a big case watch, and the others are just not feeling it for me.

Yeah, so do I , you can buy all the straps and switch it up if you want. I'm also going to get the black stainless as well for dressier occasions.

 

At the top of the page I posted yesterday a Seiko I just picked up. It has a black steel strap as well. That will be my first one with a black strap.

Vintage Omega I inherited from my dad. A bit small for my wrist but a nice automatic.
