Does anyone know the height difference with the Marten Rack and a RSI smart cap? I'm looking at load bars for the smart cap and want to get it as close as possible as my rtt will likely hang over the cab roof rack.

 

Got my Martin OR rack installed yesterday. Fit was great. Looks great. Should be able to strap a ton of groceries up there. The shark fin is still just about 1/8” higher than the vertical mounted rear cross bar. Time will tell if that’s an issue. I don’t much like the shark fin so I’ll be fine with a delete if necessary. I painted my spacers black. I ordered some custom tie-down brackets that Gage is making from my back of the envelope sketch. He was great to work with and the rack got here in 2 weeks.

Got my tie downs from Gage at MOR. Exactly what I was looking for:



This will let me use a river strap without having to thread it through anything. Just loop it around on either side and cinch tight.

 

Weird. My fin sits about an 1/8” lower than the bars.

 

Just got mine all mounted but I did have to put the rear crossbar vertical as it hits the fin which sucks. Other then that I'm very happy with Martin roof rack and will recommend.

Hey @gmartin284 looking at your camper rack and curious if you have a version that fits an OVRLND camper. They say it will extend 41” over the cab.

For the Tacoma racks, with the +2 crossbar option the racks can easily support 300lb dynamic and 600lb static loads.

Has anyone tried putting the prinsu wind deflector decal on a Martin rack?

 

Pretty sure you can order that pattern (or at least similar) as a vinyl.
