I was gonna get one a couple years back... It was only $199 back then. I decided that the ECT button gave me the pedal feel I needed when I needed a little more pep and a quicker response time. I basically use ECT on the highway and the pedal response and pickup is much better... Around town I'm ok with the soggy stock throttle response. It helps me actually do the speed limit .. ECT is one push away if I need to pass..

Had a pedal commander in my 2015 Ram Diesel to help with the pedal lag. It did its job. I guess it depends on what you’re looking to get out of the truck. I didn’t want to tune or change the truck and violate the warranty so the pedal commander was a good solution until I got rid of the truck.

None to speak of, just enjoying it for the moment.
It was 82 degrees in Virginia today, so it was a great day to get the tailgate electric lock installed! Done and it was very easy to do.

So the ARB Solis lights are great, but it’s a huge pain in the ass that you have to use ARB’s $80 wiring loom. Found this out the hard way after hacking up the first one. The loom comes with a dimmer that activates the lights And you’re supposed to wire into the headlight assembly (lights work with your brights) - f that, cut em up some. Holler if you go to install these, I’ll share how I accomplished not wiring “correctly”

these things are brighter than goddamn fuck, I’ll give them that. First pic is all the way dimmed, second is full bore.

A few, mainly added skids. I like leaving the suspension alone. I drive forest service dirt roafs in the desert west extremely extremely too fast. Toyota nailed this suspension going 65 across desert terrain. Changing it is dumb unless you have a specific need like crawling or mud.
I took a brake from my tacos. I ordered my wifes 4runner RCI sliders today. We were drinking wine the other night and she mentioned how her truck is the only one without rocksliders in the family. She already has the full RCI skids from the OEM engine back. But I never thought she wanted sliders, but considering how we camp. I was more than ready to jump on that one. :spending:

Got the truck back, rides great no more funky business in the front end. The dealer effed up the bumper fitment and chipped a good amount of paint off the right fender. Calling them tomorrow to fix it. Someone is getting an ass chewing tomorrow.

Here you go. The cable is flat. For a better install, I'm going to route the wire down the A-pillar. P22.HDR.jpg
Suction cup mount is provided. Attaches easily to the windshield. No problem with visibility nor audio. :rockband:

I forgot to mention, it also displays Battery Voltage which I like very much.

FWIW: Here you can see the 2020-2023 Tacoma Radio Knobs, Black Anodize with Illumination Ring from Etsy / TacoMods. They cost as much as the OBD2 monitor. But they complement the other controls on the dash, provide subtle illumination at night, and are IMHO the most attractive of the ones posted in the forums here.

Lift, wheels, tires, sliders, and skidplates...so far.
Today i had the guys down at 4WP “reconfigure” my Icon leaf pack into option one. The guy i had install it put it at option 3, which apparently allows me to haul a fully loaded M1A2 Abrams Main Battle Tank in the bed. My truck was riding around like a stink bug and my head would bounce off the seat with every bump in the road.

now, it sits level and rides a smooth as Tennessee whiskey. Can’t wait to get her out on more trails.

Also spray the screw with some type of penetrating lubricant and let it sit for a few minutes.
