It has been an amazing little truck. No major problems EVER!

Of course ive had to replace things but ive always used OEM parts from Toyota or UPGRADES. Probably the perfect Mid Travel Build

Amazing build and looks like a steal! What tool box is that? Also is that a roof center console? If so what’s the brand?

 

Thank you! The toolbox is from tractor supply and I made the little hydraulic things for it. It has a tilt up sunroof, no roof center consul in mine

No it’s always been a four-wheel-drive. I got it completely stock with 24k miles on it in 2015. My friends uncle passed away and he inherited it, his wife couldn’t drive a stick and I was looking for a new car so he sold it to me. I think it was just some old guy who never drove it. Even had original tires with fairly good tread but the rubber was cracking from sitting too long

 

Not sure about the color of a shift knob, never noticed that before… pretty sure it’s original though

Alright friends. New engine is in @ a total cost of about 9k (67k miles)....... that one hurt. Anyway, I'm going to be listing the truck again in the next week or so and wanted to give everyone here first dibs. Thinking about listing at 22k but priority is getting rid of the truck and replacing with small affordable car. Commuting about 2 hours total each day and this is not ideal. Unfortunately (being very honest) I just spent most of my money..... anyway let my mistake be your success. PM if questions...

Stupid, stupid, stupid........

Previous owner relocated the oil filter across the engine bay ( close to passenger side dash)... hose popped off and was spraying oil. By time oil light came on, I was a few blocks from my house... anyway parked in driveway with truck running, opened front door then garage, and came out to seized engine. Just unfortunate all around....

I've had such bad luck with first gens lol. First one was stolen, second one was this. I give up.

 

Man that really sucks, I don't understand why people relocate the oil filter on these things, it's not in an impossible place or anything. Just asking for trouble. Good luck with your sale
