    Pardon the confusion of subjects but it’s not the compatibility but parallel timelines though maybe it’s Artemis 4 that uses the larger exploration upper stage.
    I’m just speculating on what needs to happen. In terms of hardware Artemis is way ahead except for the next gen launcher so it’s mostly the turn around time for recertification of the Artemis 1 flight systems for Artemis 2 that gives Spacex a window to bring up all the HLS systems necessary. Since Artemis 2 will just do a fly by HLS won’t need to be completely ready by then but it will have to be pretty far along since it’s test flight will have to occur around then.

    Read the article I posted just above. Looks like there's gonna be a quick pace to Starship certification/operationalization flights.

    Rapid iteration indeed :thumbsup::rocket:

    Was watching some Starship layout videos and just had a thought: move the O2 and header tanks all the way up and place crew section in between those and the Methane tank. It
    Warshawski flare? They could have hidden it by transitioning behind Sol and making course corrections there before continuing on a ballistic course. Time the orbits right and they could hide behind Mercury and Venus the rest of the way until hiding behind Luna. We have no ability to parallax sunward outside of earth orbit. Webb is always opposite the sun. Having Lagrange transmission ability to Mars when it’s behind the sun would also provide the opportunity to “see” back there as well.

    Anyone see the Blue Alchemist thing? Supposedly going to turn regolith into solar panels.

    Yes, apparently all of the elements needed to make the solar cells are present in sufficient quantities. 99.99% pure silicon will be a tough task though.
