Ok guys so I bought this truck from a family friend with some body damage. There was a small side impact that damaged mostly the door, the fender, the rocker, and the rear quarter. The fender and door I can replace. The rear quarter I can get at from behind and push most of the dents out. This rocker panel though needs some love. I was thinking of just cutting the rocker panel straight on the sides and just placing a metal box over it. I don't need it to look OEM but I do want it to at least look industrial. Any ideas? 2" steel angle? bend some flashing and rivet it on?

Weld a backhoe scoop into it? Will look very industrial :burp:

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
Great time to go with sliders !

It was Dr. Todd who made all new rockers from sheet metal.

He was unable to find any in decent shape that had a reasonable price.
