    I'm laughing to myself as I began reading this link.
    I was curious about swapping my Barcelona Red hood for a Barcelona red scooped hood with someone reasonably close to where I am in Akron Ohio for my 17 Tacoma.
    I can tell that aint gonna happen. Ill just look into an aftermarket hood.

    Just realized aftermarket is now manufacturing OEM style scoop hoods and selling them for around $300 if you have a local supplier. For those who dont want to wait for the 1 out of 1000 people who want to trade away their scooped hood - could be a good option.

    So miracles do happen and @Pscdouglas is a stand up guy who was willing to do an even trade. Made the swap in his driveway last night in 15° weather. Took us about 30 minutes, no cursing, and only one lost bolt.

    Glad to see that you got home safely. I know that bolt will be found in the spring thaw, but I'm getting a new one tomorrow anyhow. I Love the way the front end looks now without that useless faux intake bump, so clean. Hoping my karma is in the black now. :burnrubber:

    Haha you beat me to it bud. it only took me 3.5 years in this thread to get a scooped hood. totally worth the wait and the drive. I can finally unfollow this thread. ill be sure to come back and post a few pictures after I've added a hood sticker and painted the bulge portion.
